Beyond being a thin layer of green on top of an engineered tunnel structure, Mangwon Greenway is the result of the leadership of the landscape architect, PARKKIM. In order to provide enough soil depth for big trees, the level of the artery highway was lowered. Scultural ramp and stairs work together to guide the pedestrians from the community on the north side toward the riverfront while indulging themselves in being in the urban forest and amusing the view of the river.
